Preaching is like God putting you on a stage, full of lights and empty seats with a handful of tickets no one wants to buy. So before you jump into ministry with an elaborate flyer, or several Facebook requests (they are cool but just saying)… please plant with the right motives…you will have many that will push you (ego) to the edge of the water but only you, God and “maybe” some family will set sail while others watch for many years to see if you sink or stay afloat…this is the shocking part to many that leave a ministry to start their own before time…if not handled well, you “will not endure” the tests and trials or you will birth an “Ishmael” and build a church based on manipulation, bitterness, and pride.
